His successful college career was followed by a good college football experience at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. In that school, he recorded 267 tackles and made 14 interceptions. His professional career took off in the 2003 season as a seventh round selection of the Kansas City Chiefs in the National Football League draft in that year. He spent the 2004 season in the National Football League in Europe. As part of the Chiefs, he played for sixteen games in the next season and also appeared for the Dallas Cowboys in the 2005 season. According to reviews, he is a very versatile player who can play well at defense. He became part of the Toronto Argonauts in 2007.
