William Roberts is a former American professional football player who played as guard for several teams in the National Football League; the New York Giants, New England Patriots and the New York Jets. Being born in Miami, Florida, Robinson took his college studies and played college football when he attended the Ohio State University. Robertson began his professional football career in the National Football League when he was drafted by the New York Giants during the 1984 National Football League Draft held on May 1 and 2. Robertson was the first round and twenty seventh overall pick of the team in the draft. Robertson played for thirteen seasons in the National Leagues, where he spent most of his career playing with the Giants for ten seasons from 1984 up to 1994. Robertson's major career highlight was when he played at the Pro Bowl in 1990. After his long stay with the Giants, Robertson joined the New England Patriots for two seasons, the 1995 and 1996 seasons.
