Jones banged college football while playing for the Virginia Cavaliers by making numerous rushing records. He made mark not only in his team but in the Atlantic Coast Conference as well. Finishing with eight conferences and 15 team records, Jones is unarguably one of Virginia's prides. The number of rushes he made ranked fourth as highest in the conference's history. In 2003, Jones was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and then signed as a free-agent in 2004 with the Chicago Bears.
