He played for the Reds from 1947 - 1955, Redlegs from 1956 - 1957, Pirates from 1958 - 1959, White Sox from 1959 - 1960 and Angels in 1961. Over 15 seasons, he played 1718 games, hit 279 home runs, drove in 848 runs, and stole 20 bases. Born on September 10, 1924 in Argo, IL, Kluszewski stood 6' 2 and weighed 225 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on April 18, 1947 and he played his final game on October 1, 1961. Over his career, Kluszewski made $40,000.
