Currently playing for the San Diego Padres, Scott Hairston is a left fielder in the Major League Baseball. He went to Canyon del Oro High School in Tucson suburb in Arizona. He excelled in playing baseball and received a number of scholarships for college. After he graduated from high school in 199, he decided to enter the Central Arizona College together with high school teammate Ian Kinsler. Hairston joined the 2001 MLB Draft and was picked by the Arizona Diamondbacks in round three.
