He was drafted to play in the National Hockey League as a 48th overall pick by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1988 NHL Draft. Aside from the Maple Leafs, he also played for the Edmonton Oilers and the Detroit Red Wings. He served as a goaltender for American Hockey League teams Cape Breton Oilers and Adirondack Red Wings, as well as for the Newmarket Saints.
