An American Hockey Association All-Star in 1035 and 1936, Peter Albert Palangio was a former National Hockey League athlete who also appeared for a few other leagues. Born on September 10, 1908, he began playing in the Northern Ontario Hockey Association as an offensive player for the team North Bay Trappers. While in the league, he recorded the highest number of points during the playoffs with 12 and has appeared in four games. After his successful career with the Trappers, he began playing for the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League in the 1927 season. He logged six games in his first rookie season in the national league and then played for the Canadian Pro for the Windsor Hornets from 1927 to 1928. After his stint with the Canadian Pro, he went back to the National Hockey League and appeared for the Detroit Cougars with which he played 14 games. His most memorable seasons in the league was from 1936 to 1937 when he became part of the Chicago Blackhawks' team which played in the Stanley Cup Tournament in 1938. Apparently, his stint with the Blackhawks was his final seasons in the National Hockey League and he moved on to play in the minors in the last few years of his noteworthy, and long career.
