Pat Riggin is a former professional hockey player who was born as Patrick Michael Riggin on May 26, 1959. He hails from Kincardine, Ontario and served as a goaltender for a few teams in the National Hockey League . Riggin also had a stint in the World Hockey Association. In the said league, he played as a goaltender for the Birmingham Bulls. He began playing in a hockey team with the London Knights where his brother, Larry, also spent some seasons. In the National Hockey League, he became part of a number of teams like Atlanta Flames and the Calgary Flames . He also had a stint with the Washington Capitals and the Boston Bruins and spent his last few seasons in the league with the Pittsburgh Penguins. His father, Dennis Riggin was also a player in the National Hockey League. He played for 350 games in NHL and has logged 153 wins with 120 losses. He also had 1, 336 game minutes in the playoffs. He was named to the Memorial Cup Tournament All-Star team and was given the Hap Emms Memorial Trophy in 1977. In 1984, he received the William M. Jennings Trophy with another teammate, Al Jensen.
