Maurice Samuel Vaughn, simply called Mo Vaughn, was born in December 15, 1967 in Norwalk Connecticut. He is a former player in the major league baseball. He played from 1991 to 2003 and he became a three time player in the All Star selection. He also won the MVP award of the American League in 1995. In 1993, he became the center of the Red Sox and in that season, he hit twenty nine home runs and a total of 101 RBI. He made a reputation as one of the most dreaded hitters in the history of the American League after hitting twenty nine home runs and a .300 average. With eleven stolen bases and 126 RBI, he became a very famous player during those times. He also led the Sox to reach the playoffs and these efforts were culminated by his MVP award by the American League.
