Melvin Parnell is a retired professional baseball player who hails from Louisiana. He worked as a starting pitcher for the Major League Baseball team, Boston Red Sox. His first appearance in the Major League Baseball was on April 20, 1947 and spent the rest of his major league career with the Red Sox.
