Kenny Williams is a former American pro baseball athlete and is currently a general manager of the Chicago White Sox in the Major League Baseball with his major career highlight as a coach was being a part of the White Sox's winning team in the 2005 World Series. He was born in Berkeley, California and graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in East San Jose. He took his college education when he attended the Stanford University before leaving to become a professional baseball player. He then made his pro baseball debut on September 2, 1986. Williams also played as center fielder for three other teams in the league; the Detroit Tigers, Toronto Blue Jays and the Montreal Expos. He had his last game on October 4, 1991 for the Montreal Expos. Williams rejoined the White Sox organization in November 1992 as a scout and in November 2000, Williams replaced Ron Schueler as the general manager of the White Sox.
