Jonathan Vilma is an American football player and currently playing as linebacker in the National Football League for the New Orleans Saints. He was born in Coral Gables, Florida. Vilma took his college studies at the University of Miami where he was noteworthy for playing college football. He stands 6 ft. 1 in. and weighs 230 lbs. During his high school year Vilma was diagnosed with osteochondritis, a bone defect that cause instability in the joint, and is suspected as a possible cause behind his season-ending injury in 2007.
