John Hiller is a retired professional baseball player who served as a relief pitcher in the Major League Baseball. Hiller spent his entire major league career playing for the Detroit Tigers and was born in Toronto, Ontario in Canada. Hiller is best known for being able to record a total of 38 saves during the 1973 season and that was after he had a heart attack. In the succeeding season, Hiller was able to win a total of 17 games that he relief pitched for.
