J.J. Hardy is presently playing for the Minnesota Twins in the Major League Baseball. He is a shortstop and has been playing in the league since 2005. Hardy is from Tucson, Arizona and went to Sabino High School where he started playing baseball. He was selected as an All-State in 1999 to 2001. He played in the 2001 U.S. Junior National team in Edmonton, Canada where he helped the team get the silver medal. Hardy was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers during the 2001 MLB Draft and played in the minors before being called up to the majors in 2005. However, he was able to bounce back up in the 2007 season and was named to the MLB All-Star Game as a reserve. He was able to make an appearance during the ninth inning.
