Horace Grant Autographs

Horace Junior Grant was born on July 4, 1965 in Augusta, Georgia. He is a former professional basketball player and is the brother of another NBA player, Howard Grant. He attended college at Clemson University where he played college basketball and was able to join the National Basketball Association in 187 during the NBA Draft. He was picked from among the players as 10th overall. His 6' 10” height gave him a great advantage as a power forward and center. He joined the Chicago Bulls in 1989 where he became a good scorer together with Jordan and Pippen and collectively, they were a great trio of the league. He was included four times in NBA All-Defensive Team and played an important role in helping the Bulls win the 1990-91, 19991-1992 and 1993-1993 championships. According to reviews, Grant was the second most popular player after Pippen after the 1992-1993 seasons. He became part of the NBA All-Star Game in 1994 and later on joined the Orlando Magic. He helped the team get into the 1995 NBA Finals but lost in four games to Houston Rockets. After playing with the Magic, he spent one year with the Seattle Sonics and was traded to Los Angeles Lakers. Like all the teams he played with, he also played a big role in helping the Lakers win the 2000-2001 Championship. He retired in 2003 but then came back to play for the Lakers in the 2003-2004 season. He permanently went into retirement in 2004.
