Glendon James Rusch is a professional baseball player from Seattle, Washington. He throws and bats right and currently is a free agent in the Major League Baseball. He finished high school at the Shorecrest High School. Rusch was selected by the Kansas City Royals in the 17th round of the 1993 MLB amateur draft and signed with them on June 1993. He debuted in the major leagues on April 6, 1997 in a game against the Minnesota Twins which Kansas City won. He was then traded off to the New York Mets in 1999 and in 2002 was part of a 3- team trade that sent him to the Milwaukee Brewers. He became a free agent in 2003 and then signed with the Texas Rangers. On April 2004, he signed with the Chicago Cubs where he stayed until 2007. He was diagnosed with a blood clot in his lungs and was only able to return in 2008. He then signed with the San Diego Padres and a few months later with the Colorado Rockies where he stayed until 2009. He entered free agency on October 2009. Throughout the 2008 season, Rusch has a 65-99 win- loss record, with a 5.02 earned run average and 1,075 strikeouts.
