A former Major League Baseball player, Glenallen Hill was born on March 22, 1965 in Santa Cruz, California. He is a graduate of Santa Cruz High School and was a baseball athlete in the said institution. He began playing professionally after the 1983 amateur draft where he was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays as a 219th overall pick in round nine. His first game in the Major League Baseball was on July 31, 1989 with the Blue Jays. Often called “The Juggler”, he is said to do everything to keep the ball once it touches his hands. In his 13 years in the Major League Baseball, he played for a number of teams which include the Cleveland Indians which he joined in 1991, the Chicago Cubs with which he worked with from 1993 to 1994 and from 1998-2000, the San Francisco Giants from 1995 to 1997 and the Seattle Mariners with which he signed in 1998.
