Glen A. Hanlon is a former National Hockey League player and head coach. Born on February 20, 1957 in Brandon, Manitoba, he began playing in the league after being selected by the Vancouver Canucks in the National Hockey League Draft in 1997. He was a third round selection and ranked 40th overall in the draft. Aside from the Canucks, he likewise played for the St. Louis Blues and the New York Rangers. He also had a stint with the Detroit Red Wings and several Western Hockey League teams and Central Hockey League. Hanlon became part of the American Hockey League and the International Hockey League as well. Hanlon was named Rookie of the Year in the Central Hockey League. Aside from being a player, he also coached the Washington Capitals and served as a head coach of the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League. He coached the Belarus Hockey team in 2005 and led them to the Men's World Ice Hockey Championship 10th Place. He coached several other teams including the Dynamo Minsk of Kontinental Hockey League and recently, he was named head coach of the Slovak national ice hockey team. Ryan Hannam is a professional football player born on February 24, 1980 in St. Ansgar, Iowa. He started out as a college football letterman in University of Northern Iowa.
