Gary Roenicke Autographs

Gary Steven Roenicke is originally from Covina, California. He is an ex- Major League Baseball player as an outfielder for the Montreal Expos in 1976, the Baltimore Orioles from 1978 to 1985, the New York Yankees in 1986, and finally the Atlanta Braves from 1987 to 1988. Roenick first started his career in 1973 as an 8th pick in the amatuer draft by the Montreal Expos in the first round. He was awarded the Most Valuable Player Award in the Eastern League in 1975, and the following year, Roenick made his first appearance in MLB making exceptional statistics with the Montreals. In 1977, Roenicke was traded to the Baltimore Orioles, and he played only 27 games in the following season. The 1979 season, however, marked his best year with outstanding performances. He was accredited to hitting a home run every 15 times he was at bat. He had another notable season in 1982. The following seasons marked the downhill for his career, as his batting average showed signs of decline. In 1985, the Orioles traded him to the New York Yankees for Rex Hudler and Rich Bordi. Because of his lower hitting numbers, Roenick was only a bench player, hitting only three home runs for the season. His last stint in the MLB was with the Atlanta Braves in 1987. He retired from baseball a year later. If you don't know where to start out with to build a new collection, the MLB trading cards and tickets are an excellent beginning!
