Born on January 10, 1983 in La Romana, Dominican Republic, Ervin Santana is a right-handed starting pitcher of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. He became the starting pitcher for the Angels' double-A affiliate, the Arkansas Travelers. It is where Santana posted an amazing 5-1 record and 2.31 ERA all in 15 starts. He was promoted when Kelvim Escobar was injured. It was on May 17, 2005 when he made his first Major League appearance.
