Over 15 seasons, he played 1799 games, hit 87 home runs, drove in 617 runs, and stole 64 bases. Born on December 9, 1944 in Decatur, IL, Unser stands 6' 1 and weighs 180 lb. He attended high school and was drafted by the Washington Senators in the 1st round (18th pick) of the 1966 amateur draft (June Secondary). Player signed June 28, 1966.
