He played for the Mets from 1986 - 1992, Mariners in 1993, Marlins from 1993 - 1994, Astros in 1995, Cubs in 1996, Athletics from 1997 - 1998 and Padres from 1999 - 2001. Over 16 seasons, he played 1582 games, hit 42 home runs, drove in 516 runs, and stole 11 bases. Born on September 30, 1962 in Tampa, FL, Magadan stands 6' 3 and weighs 190 lb. He attended Jesuit (Tampa, FL) high school and was drafted by the New York Mets in the 2nd round of the 1983 amateur draft.
