About Dave Kingman: Dave Kingman (full name: David Arthur Kingman; Kong and Sky King) played leftfielder, first baseman and third baseman from 1971 until 1986 for the San Francisco Giants, New York Mets, New York Yankees, California Angels, San Diego Padres, Chicago Cubs and Oakland Athletics. He played for the Giants from 1971 - 1974, Mets from 1975 - 1983, Yankees in 1977, Angels in 1977, Padres in 1977, Cubs from 1978 - 1980 and Athletics from 1984 - 1986. Over 16 seasons, he played 1941 games, hit 442 home runs, drove in 901 runs, and stole 85 bases. Born on December 21, 1948 in Pendleton, OR, Kingman stands 6' 6 and weighs 210 lb. He attended Mt. Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL) high school and was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 1st round (1st pick) of the 1970 amateur draft (June Secondary). Player signed June 27, 1970. His debut was on July 30, 1971 and he played his final game on October 5, 1986. Over his career, Kingman made $4,207,500.
