Grebeck is a former professional baseball player in the Major League Baseball. He was a middle fielder throughout his entire career. Grebeck was born in Johnstown, PA but grew up in Lakewood, California. He attended California State University at Dominguez Hills. Grebeck was signed by the Chicago White Sox as an amateur free agent. He was assigned to play for the Peninsula White Sox in the Carolina League, the Birmingham Barons of the Southern League, the Vancouver Canadians of the Pacific Coast League and the Nashvile Sounds in the American Association. During the 1990 season, Grebeck was finally called up to the White Sox and he played his first game in April. He was able to appear in the most number of games during the 1991 season with 107 games. He was able to post a batting average of .281 for that season. His best season was in 1999 while playing for the Toronto Blue Jays.
