Chris Fuamata is a former professional football player who appeared in the NFL from 1998 to 2004. He was a fullback and played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for a huge period of his career. He was born in Kalihi, Oahu and attended Saint Louis School in Honolulu where he played football. He decided to enter the University of Utah. During his first year of playing collegiate football, he was named as the Freshman of the Year during the Western Athletic Conference. In his sophomore year, he was named into the First Team of the All-WAC. In his junior year, he was selected for an All-WAC Honorable Mention. Fuamata's professional career started when he was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 1998 NFL Draft. During his first year of professional play, he was able to make two touchdowns and was able to carry the ball for 30 yards for the 12 games that he appeared in. In 2002, the Steelers bested the Cleveland Browns to clinch the AFC Wild Card win. During the said game, Fuamata was able to make a touchdown. In 2003, the Jacksonville Jaguars signed Fuamata.
