The rookie of the month for November 2005, Channing Frye is an American National Basketball Association player of the New York Knicks. He was born on May 17, 1983 in White Plains, New York. Frye's positions in his games are center and power forward. This 6'11” tall player had studied in the University of Arizona. When he was in high school, he studied at the Hendrix Junior High School and later at the St. Mary's Prep School in Phoenix, Arizona where he became an all-state and all-metro area player. He had spent a full four seasons at the University of Arizona in 2001 and ended in 2005.
