He played for the Pirates from 1971 - 1979, Angels from 1980 - 1984 and Red Sox in 1985. Over 15 seasons, he started 246 games, won 115 games, struck out 1073 batters, and had a 3.66 ERA. Born on February 18, 1950 in Pasco, WA, Kison stands 6' 4 and weighs 178 lb. He attended Pasco (Pasco, WA) high school and was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 14th round of the 1968 amateur draft.
