Indiana-native Brandon Gorin is a professional football player in the National Football League. He is an offensive tackle and is currently in the Denver Broncos roster. He has also played for the San Diego Chargers, New England Patriots, Arizona Cardinals, and the St. Louis Rams. He went to St. Lawrence Catholic School and was able to receive team all-state honors while playing high school football. He entered Purdue University and was a right tackle, and later offensive tackle, for the Boilermasters. He was in the same team as Roosevelt Colin. During his second year of playing football, he was able to receive All-Big Ten Conference Academic honors. Gorin entered the 2001 NFL Draft and was picked by the San Diego Chargers during the seventh round of the draft. After spending two seasons with the Chargers, Gorin was granted free agency and signed with the New England Patriots in 2002. Although he was not able to play much during the 2003 season, he became a starter in 2004 after Tom Ashworth was injured. He was able to get his first Super Bowl ring during the Super Bowl XXXVIII and then his second ring during the Super Bowl XXXIX.
