Brad Hawpe is a professional baseball player in the MLB and is currently playing for the Colorado Rockies as a right fielder. Hawpe was born in Fort Worth, Texas and attended Boswell High School. Under the guidance of David Hatcher and Kenneth Harmon, Hawpe played as a first baseman and a pitcher. He decided to enter Louisiana State University and played for the LSU Tigers baseball team. He helped the team get to the College World Series in 2000 and contributed to the win. Hawpe was originally drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays during the 1998 MLB Draft but did not sign with the team.
