Robert Clifton Henley is a retired professional baseball player who appeared in the Major Baseball League. Born on January 30, 1973 in Mobile, Alabama, he finished high school education at Mobile County High School located at Grand Bay, Alabama where he also played high school baseball. He entered professional baseball in 1991 after being drafted by the Montreal Expos in the 1991 Major Baseball League Amateur Draft. HE was picked in the 26th round and signed with the Expos on May 16, 1992. He made his first Major League Baseball appearance on July 19, 1998 and stayed with the team for three years as a catcher. Henley batted and threw with his right hand. His height is listed at 6 ft. 2 in. and weighs 190 lbs. He was then released by the Expos in 2001. His final appearance in the Major Baseball League was on September 26, 1998 for the Montreal Expos. After retiring from being a baseball player, he went into team management and worked for his previous team, Montreal Expos. He was the manager of the Expos' rookie team, Gulf Coast League Expos. The said team appeared in several games in the Gulf Coast League. He also managed the rookie league of the Washington Nationals in 2009.
