Bob Forsch Autographs

Bob Forsch is retired professional baseball player who became active in the 1970's to the 1980's. He was a starting pitcher for a couple of Major League Baseball teams including the St. Louis Cardinals and Houston Astros. He is currently serving as the pitching coach for the Billing Mustangs and the Cincinnati Reds. He started his professional career in baseball after he was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in 1974. When it comes to his pitching, Forsch is the only person to successfully throw more than one no-hitter. He was able to pitch two no-hitter games—one in a match against the Philadelphia Phillies in 1978 and another one against the Montreal Expos in 1983. Both no-hitters were thrown in the Busch Memorial Stadium and are the only ones ever thrown in the said stadium. Forsch wasn't just excellent with pitching but he was quite good when it came to batting as well. The player had a .213 batting average and made 12 home runs by the end of his career. He also earned the National League Pitcher Silver Slugger award. In 1982, he helped the Cardinals take the World Series.
