African-American Theodore Blue Edwards is a retired professional NBA player. During the 1989 NBA Draft, he was picked by the Utah Jazz, 21st overall pick, from the East California University. He belonged to the 1990 NBA All-Rookie 2nd Team together with other top rookies such as Glen Rice. He was able to record the first triple-double in the Vancouver Grizzlies' history against the Dallas Mavericks. He was ranked fourth overall in points per game in the Grizzlies' first season. During the 1992-93 season, he was tied for scoring with Frank Brickowski of the Milwaukee Bucks with 16.9 points per game. Edwards was famous for his last-second game winning shots. He did one against the Minnesota Timberwolves which ended his team's 23-game losing streak. He also hit one against the Philadelphia 76ers.
