Aubrey Lewis Huff is a professional baseball player born on December 20, 1976 in Marion, Ohio. He played high school baseball at Mineral Wells High School but moved to Brewer High School before his junior year and became an All-District player in his new school. In college, he first went to Vernon College but then transferred to University of Miami where he was named as part of the All-American team which was created by the Baseball Weekly. In his college career, he had 21 home runs, 20 doubles and 170 total bases. In view of the fact that he was one of the best baseball players the university had, he was inducted to the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame in 2009. He was drafted in the 1998 MLB amateur draft by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the fifth round. He was given the Minor League Player of the Year award by the Devil rays after his outstanding performance in the team's minor league system. He made his Major League Baseball debut on August 6, 200o for the Devil Rays. He led the team in batting average in 2002 with .313. Huff was then moved to the Houston Astros in 2006 and scored a 2-4 record and had three home runs on July 13, 2006. He also played for the Baltimore Orioles and the Detroit Tigers. On January 12, 2010, he signed with the San Francisco Giants with which he made his first home run in the park at the AT&T Park.
