About Andy Hassler: Andy Hassler (full name: Andrew Earl Hassler; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1971 until 1985 for the California Angels, Kansas City Royals, Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, Pittsburgh Pirates and St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the Angels from 1971 - 1983, Royals from 1976 - 1978, Red Sox from 1978 - 1979, Mets in 1979, Pirates in 1980 and Cardinals from 1984 - 1985. Over 14 seasons, he started 112 games, won 44 games, struck out 630 batters, and had a 3.83 ERA. Born on October 18, 1951 in Texas City, TX, Hassler stands 6' 5 and weighs 220 lb. He attended high school and was drafted by the California Angels in the 25th round of the 1969 amateur draft. His debut was on May 30, 1971 and he played his final game on May 7, 1985.
