Aaron Walter Hill is a Major Baseball League multi-awarded athlete who hails from Visalia, California. He was born on March 21, 1982 and played in Louisiana State University in college. He recorded a college statistics of .335 batting average and had 23 home runs with 150 runs batted in. His professional playing career started in 2003 as the Toronto Blue Jays' first pick in the 2003 MLB First Year Draft. He played his very first Major League Baseball game on May 20, 2005 as a replacement for the injured Corey Koskie. He trained as a shortstop but played as a third baseman, second baseman and as a designated hitter. In 2005, he posted a .274 batting average and .384 OBP with 25 doubles and 361 at-bats. He appeared as a second baseman for the Toronto Blue Jays in 2006 but returned to being a shortstop in the middle of the 2006 season.
